The classroom runs on your accounts with the AI companies below. You create an account with whichever ones you want to use, generate an API key there, and paste it into the API keys page here — the key stays on this server and never reaches your Meta Quest. Every new account gets a free trial first, so there's no need to sign up anywhere before trying the classroom.

Speech

ElevenLabs does both halves of the conversation — it turns what you say into text, and speaks the teacher's reply back to you. Without an ElevenLabs key the classroom can still think, but it can't hear you or talk. If speaking suddenly stops working, this is the first key to check.

Language models

These power the teacher's replies, the suggestions, the flash cards and the quiz. You only need one of them. They differ in price and in how natural they sound in your target language, so it's worth trying more than one.
